The Perfect Pork Chop
Prep Time: 5 min
Cooking Time: 10 min
Resting Time: 5 min
2 bone-in pork chops
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
Salt and pepper, to taste
Step 1: Preparing the Pork Chops
Step 2: Preheating the Grill
Step 3: Grilling the Pork Chops
Remove the pork chops from the marinade and let any excess drip off.
Place the pork chops on the preheated grill and cook for approximately 4-5 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 63°C using a meat thermometer.
Flip the pork chops only once during cooking to achieve a nice sear on both sides.
Let the grilled pork chops rest for a few minutes before serving to allow the juices to redistribute.
Step 4: Serving the Grilled Pork Chops
Transfer the grilled pork chops to a platter or individual plates.
Garnish with fresh herbs, such as rosemary or thyme, for an extra touch of elegance.
Serve your grilled pork chops hot alongside your favourite sides, such as roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a refreshing salad.
