Step 2: Marinate the Chicken Wings

Place the chicken wings in a large bowl and pour the jerk marinade over them. Toss the wings to ensure they are evenly coated in the marinade.

Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1-2 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to infuse into the chicken.

Step 3: Prepare the Orange and Sugar Coating

Preheat your grill or barbecue to medium-high heat.

Sprinkle some sugar onto a plate.

Take the cut quarters of oranges and press the cut sides into the sugar to coat them.

Step 4: Grill the Chicken Wings and Oranges

Place the marinated chicken wings on the grill and cook for 12-15 minutes, turning them occasionally, until they are golden brown and cooked through.

While the chicken is grilling, place the sugar-coated orange quarters on the grill and cook for 3-4 minutes, turning them occasionally, until they develop golden-brown grill marks.

Step 5: Serve and Enjoy

Remove the chicken wings from the grill and arrange them on a serving platter.

Place the grilled orange quarters alongside the chicken wings.
Serve the jerk chicken wings with the grilled oranges as a delicious and flavorful appetizer or main dish.

Note: Adjust the cooking time of the chicken wings as needed, ensuring they are fully cooked and reach an internal temperature of 74°C.

The sugar-coated oranges add a sweet and caramelized touch to complement the jerk flavors. Enjoy!
